England team vs France, Six Nations 2019: Training squad – and expected line-up
Eddie Jones names 35-man squad ahead of the clash at Twickenham with Saracens lock Nick Isiekwe replacing injured teammate Maro Itoje.
Saracens lock Nick Isiekwe has been called up to the England Six Nations squad ahead of the clash against France at Twickenham on Sunday to replace injured teammate Maro Itoje. England have been installed as favourites to win the Six Nations title following their 32-20 win over reigning champions Ireland on the opening weekend. However, the injury to Itoje will be cause for concern for head coach Eddie Jones ahead of the French visit. The 24-year-old was an imposing figure in Dublin and is not expected to figure again for England until towards the end of this year’s championship.
Who will start vs France?

(Getty Images) By Hugh Godwin, i rugby union correspondent Apart from the need to replace the injured Itoje, it is unlikely England will change a winning team after Saturday’s 32-20 Six Nations success away to Ireland.
Three men who might have started in Dublin if they had been fit – centre Ben Te’o, blindside flanker Brad Shields and wing Joe Cokanasiga – rejoined the squad on Tuesday and are available to face France at Twickenham this Sunday. Te’o was described as first-choice inside centre by head coach Eddie Jones last week.
But with Manu Tuilagi and Henry Slade in the midfield and back-rowers Mark Wilson, Tom Curry and Billy Vunipola having performed up to and beyond expectations against the Irish, the returnees may have to bide their time.
